 Last week I watched the video on voice tube video, which is about reading, so I applied the method in the video to my reading, which is to understand the background of the book and the author's experience before I read it, which will allow me to better understand the book.

Ramen

I have to say I am a big ramen fan. I don't like the shoyu or soy sauce ramen, that is popular in Tokyo, so much though. I love 'char siu' ramen in a miso broth. It is excellent in winter. The broth is deliciously thick and steamy. I love fishing the noodles, bean sprouts and slices of pork out of it. Then, I drink the broth to the dregs, spoonful by spoonful. Divine!

Sichuan food

Szechuan food is my  favorite ，Some of these are dazzlingly hot, like the numbing-and-hot mix of Sichuan pepper and dried chilies.Other dishes are mildly spicy, like those featuring a fish-fragrant sauce based on pickled chilies, and those with a sweet-and-sour lychee-flavored sauce are not hot at all. It's also famous for its hotpot.Attracts many foreigners and tourists to taste it.

My Recent Trip

  I went on a trip to northwest China last year with my parents.There are very beautiful   natural landscapes and historical sites there.During the trip we saw desert and extensive  grasslands. We went there in  summer.But the mountains there are very high, so it's cool.The only bad thing about it is that it's so high up, if you run or jump, you get hypoxia.

A Trip to Hamner

I went on a trip to Hamner last week with my wife, Patricia, and our dog, Neo. Hamner is a historic hot springs resort about two and a half hours North West of Christchurch.
We had a nice time there. We did some window shopping in the galleries and craft stores, did some of the forest walks with Neo, and spent two afternoons soaking in the hot pools. 
A bad surprise was my forgetting to bring my wife's knitting along. A good one, on the other hand, was meeting and hanging out with three of my cousins in the hot pools.
All in all, we had a wonderful time away.

My Hidden Talent

My talent is that I played soccer really well in high school. I was on the school soccer team. I played in different positions, but I liked the goalkeeper position the most. I often played soccer with my friends after school and watched a lot of soccer matches on TV. My favourite goalkeeper was Jose Luis Chilavert. He is Paraguayan. I remember crying a lot when Paragua lost to France in the 1998  FIFA world cup.  

My Hidden Talent

My talent is I can sing.I always like to listen many kinds of music, like Mandopop  , Candopop ,When I was in primary school, I joined the school choir. I'm not always practicing any songs，because if you listen to a song many times, you'll naturally sing it.

How I Spend My Free Time

I typically spend my free time in the evenings watching TV with my wife and our dog. We like to watch historical documentaries, dystopian TV series and independent films. In the weekends, I spend my time, taking the dog for a walk, reading in the park and going shopping in 2nd hand bookshops and junk shops. I like to buy Chinese and Japanese blue & white ceramics. Occasionally we go for a drive out of town as well.

    I spend my free time play games  on my mobile phone, or I like hanging out with my friends. sometimes I spend my time stay at home. or  read books , listen to music, eat out with my family.

Dream Commuters

I don't think I would consider working and living in different locations at this stage of my life. I am happy with both my job and my lifestyle here in Dunedin, New Zealand, at present. I could see myself working elsewhere in the future, but if I did that I would choose to live in that location 7 days a week. I wouldn't commute back to Dunedin for the weekends. There would be no point in me maintaining two households as Justin does. I would make sure that my work/life balance in the place I moved to wouldn't require escaping somewhere else for the weekends.

Dream Commuters

If work takes up the majority of my life, then I should consider living away from work and balancing my work and life.
Because I think if we enjoy life, we'll be able to do our jobs better.
In the other hand，I think living away from work, that choice changes the way you lifestyle.And When you don't live and work in the same city, coming back to where you live is like taking a vacation!
When you live away from your work, this way you can forget about your work for a while.You will feel unstressed.

A Special Friend

A special person in my life is my wife, Patricia. We met at work. We see each other everyday. We enjoy doing the following things together: watching movies, going to museums and art galleries, and going for walks along the beach with our dog, Neo. Patricia is important to me because she supports me through the things she does everyday, be they as simple as doing the shopping and the ironing and watering the potted plants. No-one is an island. We all rely on each other.

               My special friend is my best friend.We met in primary school.We got on very well. We have sense of humour  in common .and we have the same interests. when I stay with her, I feel comfortable and unstressed .

An Important Year In my Life

   The Year in my life ,I became a young student.I just started my school life and I'm fresh about everything around me.I met my best friend at school.I understand how to be systematic learn knowledge.In this year I experienced the first test of my life. Ushered in the first holiday. so this is an important year in my life.

1990

1990 was a really important year in my life. That year I turned 27, got married, moved to a new country and started a new job.
In March of 1990, I got married to Patricia. Then just a month later we moved together to Osaka, Japan, to start a new life there.
Life was difficult at first, living in a tiny apartment and not knowing anybody; however as the months went by, we made friends at my college, in our neighbourhood and at church. We also came to enjoy the local food and some of the local sights. In addition, I enjoyed the work preparing Japanese college students for study abroad.
It was nice to go through the experience of living in a new place with an ally at my side, my wife. In the end, it wasn't until 15 years later that I returned to New Zealand for good.
